Choosing new furniture is a big decision. You want to get it spot on and it's our job to help.
Here we answer our commonly asked questions, but if you can't find the answer, do drop us a line.
The furniture we offer is adaptable, so the process of ordering is highly collaborative. It's a fun experience — we want you to enjoy it!
Planning a visit
Where is your showroom?
We're based in Wilton, near Marlborough in Wiltshire (not Wilton, Salisbury!).
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Saturday by appointment. Please call to arrange a suitable time for your visit.
What should you bring?
To fit in with your room scheme, please do bring armfuls of fabric samples, favourite colours, photos of your room etc. These will help when looking at our range and our fabrics. If you have one available, a floorplan can be hugely useful too.
How long should you allow?
It’s entirely up to you — some customers know exactly what they are after within five minutes. That’s incredible, but unusual… Others need more time and a couple of visits to make a decision. We’re happy either way!
Pricing & Ordering
How much does your furniture cost?
Illustrative prices shown are for pieces covered in our least expensive fabrics and are meant as a guide. We supply material from all major fabric houses and the final price will depend on your choice.
What are your terms?
Each piece of furniture we make is built to order. As such, we ask for a 40% deposit at the time your order is placed, with the balance due five working days before the agreed delivery date.
What are your lead times?
Typically six to eight weeks from the point at which we receive fabrics from the manufacturer.
Can I order online?
Unfortunately not. Each item is made to order, so it's best to view our furniture range in real life.
Delivery & Storage
What are your delivery costs?
Delivery is free within 60 miles of Marlborough, Wiltshire. Beyond that radius, we offer a trusted white glove delivery service at cost.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, absolutely. Our furniture can be found in homes around the world — we’re happy to arrange international shipping at cost or fit into your container arrangements.
Do you offer storage?
Many customers order furniture while renovating or moving house. We can offer limited storage facilities if required at £20 per item per week beyond the agreed delivery date.
Will your sofas fit in my room?
When you order, we will give you your furniture's dimensions. While it is your responsibility to ensure access is unrestricted, if you feel this may be an issue then please do ask us for advice. We can help fit into tight spots!
Do you offer re-upholstery?
Yes. We encourage it — extending the life of your furniture is cost-effective and good for the planet. Our furniture is built to last and we are happy to re-upholster pieces we have supplied in the past. Please contact us for a quote.
Can you copy a piece I've seen...?
We've recreated several older styles over the years — our Brook chair, for example, is based on a Victorian design. We might not be able to make a direct copy, but we are often able to evoke a similar style — let us know what you are after.
What cushions do you offer?
We offer a choice of feather, feather-wrapped foam and Hollofil cushions. Please do be aware that all cushions — especially feather — require regular vigorous plumping (preferably daily) to maintain their shape.
Do you supply armcaps?
Our sofas and armchairs come with armcaps as standard. Armcaps for shorter-armed styles (the Brook and Parrett) can be supplied on request.
